      What you said about Apatow could be applied to Woody Allen, who’s been like that (self-indulgent, elitist, et al) a lot longer…

      The only time that anyone found cinematic evidence that Woody once was charming and genuinely witty (funny, while also being gracious), it was in black-and-white and Arlene Francis was in her prime.
