Seven Popular Chick Flicks that Secretly Hate Women

    By Kyle | November 22, 2009

Cracked has a list. Vial linkiest.”Twilight,” of course, is on there. Look, substitute, “When I lose control, I beat women occasionally” for “When I lose control, I bite women occasionally,” and isn’t this just a saga of a woman with a serious case of codependency? I wonder what the abuse-hotline types think of this movie. Or is everything cool if the guy who beats/bites is cute? It’s kind of like the Bob Packwood/Bill Clinton story. Feminists didn’t think Packwood was sexy, so he didn’t get a pass the way Clinton did.

A brave attempt to reconcile gender feminist theory with female adolescent sex fantasies.

To paraphrase Johnson, it’s like a dog’s walking on his hind legs. It is not done well; but you are surprised to find it done at all.
