    SNL Rips Obama

    By Kyle | November 22, 2009

I think this “Saturday Night Live” sketch may be the most spot-on — and most hostile — comedy attack on Obama yet delivered by the MSM. It is surprisingly detailed and substantive for a comedy sketch and it ridicules Obama on major policy matters instead of on the kind of things comedians usually focus on (like bad grammar). Yet what’s best about it may be the catch phrase: “Then WHY ARE YOU DOING SEX TO ME?” Not substantive, but catchiness matters.

h/t to Instapundit who makes the following excellent point:

I think Obama’s “charisma” was based on voter narcissism — people excited not just about electing a black President, but about themselves, voting for a black President. Now that’s over, and they’re stuck just with him, and emptied of their own narcissism there’s not much there to fill out the suit.

At this point, can we include FOX among the MSM (ie., they have as much of an agenda as opposed to responsible reporting, even if it’s a different one from the likes of CNN, MSNBC, etc.), seeing as how they get higher ratings than any of the other cable news networks (just ask them)?

      Quite good.

Fox is a staunch member of the mainstream media.

      Kyle,

Did you watch HBO’s “By The People: The Election of Barack Obama”?

No, I missed it. Why? I heard it wasn’t very interesting.

I haven’t seen it either, actually. I was wondering if if it came off as propaganda.

I am in awe of Instapundit’s telepathic powers.
