    Review: “Our Choice” by Al Gore

    In Al Gore’s grade-school textbook-like latest tome, he freely admits to pushing ethanol legislation (his was the deciding vote in the Senate in the 1990s, when he was vice president and supported a major bill) to advance his political prospects in his home state and in Iowa, whose caucuses he wanted to win when he ran for president.
