    Lando Calrissian vs. Emperor Palpatine

    By kyle | November 4, 2008

Hmm. Which one is more like which candidate? Calrissian did turn out to be something of a back-stabber but was also an experienced pilot. Palpatine was old… but he did have magical powers. As for who would win this election, I think it depends on the turnout of the Wookiee minority (Chewbacca is Lando’s running mate), and of course whether Droids should have the right to vote.

      I’d write in Yoda.

Do we get to play the Ewok Celebration song tonight when Obama wins and The Empire is defeated?

You play the Ewok song all you want Donnie. You are correct it will be a defeat for the American empire and for the idea of America. High times for you I’m sure.

Random. But is anyone watching what’s going on at the polling stations? The left is getting uglier than usual. Blocking voting stations, kicking out poll watchers, sheesh. They don’t have to cheat or play dirty I honestly think they could win legitimately.

Didn’t the Ewok song coincide with the mourning for the departed Anakin and Obi-Wan?
