Larry Flynt, Hero to the Bush Bashers

    By Kyle | August 7, 2008

Today I review an IFC documentary on Larry Flynt that reveals that his career was not about porn. It was about speaking out against the evil George W. Bush regime. Christian Toto has more about the lopsidedness of the doc.

I think the one thing that was bothering the Left about Flynt was his anti-feminism. If they could cure him of that, then he could be easily slotted in as a hater of war and corporations and Republican politicians, a defender of free speech and sex. You would think Flynt would be a guy who danced to one tune–his own–but he actually comes around in this doc. After some prodding, he admits he was wrong to print the Penthouse meat-grinder-woman cover. So let the canonization begin.

Great review. What a creepy doc … utterly biased, utterly un-self aware (is that a word/phrase?). At least the filmmakers gave his foes time to rebut his greatness … that 60 seconds really did the trick.

anyone who is still ridiculing Bush policies critics as Bush bashers, deserves to be ridiculed himself!

Your caricature fires back at you considering Bush approval marks as low as 22% points. (Hence the “Bush bashers” are around 70% or US). This is the general public feeling! Never mind the facts like needless war, lies to get to it, 4 trillion added to the National debt…
