    He’s “Lunchified”! Patrick Goldstein Blogs

    By Kyle | June 25, 2008

An amusing NY Observer piece today welcomes L.A. Times columnist Patrick Goldstein, whom I don’t know, to the world of movie blogs. He’s already got several informative (though longish) items up, including some scoop on Yale dropout Oliver Stone’s film on his Yale classmate, and an interesting item on “Hancock.” Movie City News man David Poland, whom I also don’t know, accuses Goldstein of being too “lunchified,” or cozy with the suits. Though I think “lunchified” is an important new addition to the language, Goldstein’s blog strikes me as refreshingly polite and even-tempered in a world of junkyard dogs so check it out.
