    Review: HBO’s “Recount”

    By Kyle | May 23, 2008

At Commentary, I run down the many weaknesses, but also the strengths, of HBO’s movie about Florida 2000, “Recount,” which debuts this Sunday night. It was fairer to the Republican side than most Hollywood productions, though it leaves absolutely no doubt that the heroes are the Democrats. The film packs in an amazing amount of information, Zodiac-like, while keeping the pace snappy and Denis Leary and Ed Begley turn in some fine performances. Overall, I recommend it.
