Perhaps Donovan or The Animals during the beatings and killings would have helped?

Eric Metaxas has written that “Silence” is tough to watch. The opinions and reviews that I’ve seen and its length make me not want to see it. I wasn’t interested in seeing “Hacksaw Ridge,” either.

Hacksaw Ridge was top notch. Brave white men fighting for their country.

Hacksaw Ridge was such a better film about faith from a guy who understands it. Martin Scorsese is an outsider looking in. You can feel his distance watching this laborious slog of a movie. (I’m referring to Silence, obviously.)

The theater I was in was emptier than Maxine Waters’ head.
