In a new memoir, “The Envoy,” Bush’s ambassador to Afghanistan and Iraq speaks out about how much we should blame Bush — and Obama — for what happened. More in a Sunday column.

I always thought the Bush/Obama administrations were fighting the wrong war. The war they should have been fighting was a culture war – taking out the Paki jihadist schools being bankrolled by the Saudis, distributing 21st century media systems for free and using the same strategies that have been so effective in turning the West into a collection of effete secular post nationalist welfare states.

The war is on the US Southern border. President Trump needs to take the troops out of Germany and station them from Texas to California. Kill with extreme prejudice when necessary.

@ObB: The problem with being colonized by Mexicans is that there’s a quite high percentage of really nice, hard working and somewhat conservative people with what passes for western culture. The problem is when they become demographically dominant, your country becomes Mexico – socialist politics and all.

It’s not a matter of war, it’s a matter of being a mature country and having actual real border controls. The fact that hasn’t happened is down completely to corrupt American politicians. If you want to terminate with extreme prejudice the people who would stop the border onslaught, then I suggest a better hunting ground would be found on the banks of the Potomac.

      Correction:

If you want to terminate with extreme prejudice the people who are responsible for the border onslaught, then I suggest a better hunting ground would be found on the banks of the Potomac.

Bah! An edit option would be nice.

I was referring to the terrorists flooding across the border.

And since this is a film oriented site, I was going for a famous quote which I bungled “terminate…with extreme prejudice”.
