    The BBC has another of its amazingly photographed nature docs out. This one is called “One Life.” My review is up.

      his documentary is an excellent way to introduce your kids to the more mind-boggling wonderments of reality,

      And also give them an appreciation of why we need to send thousands, if not hundred of thousands of people into poverty to protect an obscure species of nematode.

      = new religion.

      Well, they do if you can turn the sound off and just watch the pretty pictures of the cute ani-mals.

      I can’t help thinking though, that the film makers are on a budget and therefore most of the cutey cutey scenes of cute bunnies getting eaten by coyotes and stuff are actually staged.

      Which makes me visualize the film’s outtakes of the assistant cinematographer throwing out bunny rabbit after bunny rabbit into the slavering jaws of some predator so they can get the perfect shot.

      Now, that would be a nature video worth watching.
